Taylor-Way and Pittsburgh Forgings were machinery manufacturers for tractor-drawn equipment from way back. Somewhere along the line they merged. I have not yet seen the new Taylor-Pittsburgh (aka MF) mowers yet, so I can't comment on their quality. I have a 10' Taylor-Way disk harrow which is built like a brick *hit house. A friend of mine has a Pittsburgh spring harrow, also well-built. Some of the old Ferguson and MF 3-point implements were built by Pittsburgh and were rugged enough that they are still being used 50+ years later. So if they've kept up their quality, I would give them a look. Home / Directories / Guide to Suppliers / Taylor Pittsburgh Mfg Inc. Backhoe, Hitches; Backhoes, Skid Steer Mount; Backhoes, Tractor Mounted; Bucket Attachments. Jul 27, 2012 I've had a tayor way (pittsburgh) model 766 backhoe for a few years now. I was using it on a small B7800 tractor, and because the swing arms on that t. Not the same co, sister companies. I bought a Taylor box blade (Heavy duty) and could not find info on it. I called the number listed on the web page and got KK co. They explained it to me. Taylor makes heavier duty equip, which can use KK parts (scarifiers for BB). Anywho, the people were friendly and helpful, and sent me a manual in the mail. I now promote their stuff after seeing the BB in action. My BB had solid plates up to the toplink, not the 2' strips like alot of the others. Also, their pins are very easy to pull with big rings on them, but the coter pins suck. I'd buy the taylor product in a sec, especially if the same price. For some reason they also put reflective tape on the back of it, nice if your going down the road. I didn't know was selling taylor stuff now, I need a rake too, guess I'll make a trip tomorrow.
